Apartment teams are often asked to make long-term infrastructure decisions with disconnected advice from installers, hardware vendors, utility stakeholders, and software providers. The result is overbuilt scope in some places, underplanned capacity in others, and no clear owner of the operating model after launch.

The failure is rarely the equipment. It is the seams between parties. An electrician sizes to the drawing, a hardware vendor sells the units on the approved list, a software provider bills for the network, and none of them is responsible for whether a resident can charge on a Tuesday night eighteen months later. When a station goes offline, the property manager becomes the integrator by default.
